Falling Blindly by Abigail Taylor
5.0
I connected with Shay SO MUCH in this story. It’s not easy to open up and trust others when your life has been filled with experiences that feed that negative inner voice telling you you’re not good enough. Constantly feeling unworthy and uncertain…questioning the intentions of others…struggling to find that sense of belonging and confidence. I loved the development of Shay and Charlotte’s relationship - the give and the take, the growing trust, confidence, and connection. It was the perfect low angst story I needed after a long week. There was still tension and angst, but the drama and conflicts (both internal and external) were resolved fairly quickly. This story highlights the importance of communication and emotional connection in relationships - of being open and honest, working through things, and meeting the other person where they are. It’s a perfect feel good story about the things that matter most in any relationship. It’s also a story about finding your own worth and the power of having people in your life who affirm it! Highly recommend it!
