This book differs from my usual genre, but I enjoyed reading it and gave it 4 stars. The story follows Adam, a college student who needs to raise his tuition after losing his scholarship due to some misdeeds. He finds himself on a trawler fishing in Alaska with a crew that promises quick cash. Although Adam is new to this lifestyle, he quickly finds himself enjoying it and embarking on a journey of self-discovery while earning money for college. The discussion between Adam and Nash was sometimes shocking, but I appreciate how Adam integrated himself into the job and worked well with the rest of the crew.

I am absolutely blown away by this phenomenal debut novel! While I may not personally share the characters' passion for boating and fishing, I am completely captivated by their story and eager to learn more. The way this book unfolds is simply incredible!
