I liked this one better than the first one, probably because if it was turned into an episode of the show I don’t remember it or didn’t see it. I’m still not completely sold on this version of Longmire but I’m biased because it’s a first person narration and I’m not a fan of that for any sort of book. It makes me feel disconnected from the narrator and in this series, it prevents the stories from spending time with Henry, Vic, and Cady apart from Longmire, which makes me like Walt even less. I’ll have to see how the next one goes down.
