I truly cannot describe how good this book is, it's just laced with straight up CRACK. this is quite possibly the romance to end all romances, the slowest burn, the angstiest lovers to enemies to lovers, the fakest of dating, just ALL OF THE ABOVE.
the chemistry that lilah and shane have is literally electric. it leaps off the page no matter what they feel for each other, whether it's hate or love. there is so much UST any time they so much as LOOK at each other and it is hot as hell. both of them are so likable and their respective complexes are so understandable, watching them butt heads is literally just foreplay for 70% of the book. i LOVED the public fame aspect of this, i feel like this is the first novel that i have truly earnestly believed in the celebrity aspect of the plot.
i wish i could say more but it's just great plot, great cast, fantastic use of flashbacks and timeline fuckery, excellent use of therapy and communication (which is so chefs kiss in a romance novel), and SEXY ASS PROTAGONISTS. read this book NOW.
