Going into this book I was expecting some crazy shenanigans like in Books 1 & 2, but that wasn't the case with Queen Move. This was such a sweet story, and still packed the same amount of drama that the other All the Kings Men books had, minus a kidnapping.
I read this in under 24 hours. I just couldn't put it down. Ryan had me hooked in the first few pages. I'm a big friends to lovers fan and this was the epitome of that trope. Ezra and Kimba have known each other since diapers, and not even year apart could separate their hearts.
You could feel their love for each other jump off the page. And the spicy scenes were typical Kennedy Ryan - F*CKING FANTASTIC!
I wasn't the biggest fan of the shocking twist at the end. Quite frankly it p*ssed me off. Kimba was better than me because I don't think I could've handled it the same as she did. If I had one critique it would be how the story wrapped up. It was very quick with not much action/drama. We only got glimpses of them dealing with it and it wrapped up too easily. I think it could've been fleshed out more. I know there are lots of opinions on how long romance books should be, but this was only 334 pages long and I think an extra 30 pages could've been added to work through the ending better.
Overall I LOVE Queen Move and adore Ezra and Kimba.
