Considering how the first book was, i was very excited for this and it didn’t disappoint. The BANTER!! THE HISTORY! THE BACKSTORIES?! omg. My heart aches for He & Xie. I knew i was gonna grow to love them especially Xie. He is my fav person ever. I just can’t wait to see how their story is gonna end. 
The way things went from 0-1000 in a span of some 3 chapters actually flabbergasted me. I didn’t expect that turn of events and idk how i feel about it yet, but i’m still gonna read the 3rd book when it comes out
