Black Sun is a phenomenal book and one of my favorites of the year. It takes place in a fantastic world which is built in such a beautiful way. Roanhorse told a compelling and unique story with complicated characters and a number of complex themes. The writing is amazing and the way the story unfolds is ingenious. The novel left me hungry for more and Rebecca Roanhorse is an author I’m going to be paying a lot more attention to from now on. Not only do I recommend this book, but I’m going to actively start pestering people to read it.
