This is probably my least favorite of the series so far. I felt like the pacing was all over the place and I didn't really like the "surprise" reason that they couldn't be together- I didn't see it coming though. This one wasn't a romantic suspense, which given the first two stories, I was expecting it to be. Not upset, just taken off guard. Overall, I liked Kerrigan but Pierce I was kinda whatever about.
