okay, I'll admit that i actually liked this book more towards the end–there were quite a couple of twists that did surprised me and I just had to read until I finished the book to know what was going to happen.

but, mostly, it was boring. lots and lots of chapters were nothing took place, and I didn't even saw them actually bonding or trusting each other, I mean they're enemies but it happened so fast.
lust, that I could understand, but liking? yeah that came kind of out of nowhere so.. 

still, there were a couple of aspects I didn't enjoy, and that has to count for something because this has a troupe I don't like (dead spouse) (and yeah I know she wasn't married but she did loved eric so) but they both kind of solved that on their own. there's never a competition between the living and the dead, there's no harsh words about you're not them! it was nice to read how they loved each other but their love for the ones they lost didn't disappear or got into the middle of them, there's no jealousy at all and I liked it. they were pretty mature about it.

also I liked how the father was actual garbage, she never, not even once, ever thinks of him in terms of compassion, she plains hates him and he deserved worse honestly. loved that it's not that kind of story were ~he was mean but loved me in his own way 💀 girl–

oh and candance and the third brother whose name I can't recall? yeah.. that's shocked me. I knew they were the next couple featured but.. that ending !!!!
I'll admit, I'm kind of hooked up lol.
