The Sea of Monsters by Rick Riordan

5.0

I'm really happy with this one, it was even better than the first book
I love books set in the ocean, with ships and sea creatures and all that
although sadly only a part of this book was.

Percy and Annabeth set out to The Sea of Monsters in order to stop Grover's marriage to a monster who wants to eat him. And Percy gets a Cyclops brother, Tyson. He's embarrassed and hurt by his existence in the beginning, but warms up to him later.
Tyson is then summoned by Poseidon to go master forging weapons, in his underwater realm.
The Big Three don't make an appearance, unfortunately. Thalia is revived at the very last page. I'm super excited for what's going to happen next, with all the Prophecy and whatnot. I have a sickening feeling that Thalia will join Luke. It'll be devastating for Annabeth.
OH, AND Annabeth kisses Percy on the cheek. Let the romantic feelings buildup mwahahahaha
