We jump straight into the action with this book. No preamble just boom! Murder! 🔪🔪🔪

I love how the author has painted a comprehensive picture of Quinn already without any wordy info-dumping. I’m already behind her and wanting her to succeed.

I’m definitely in agreement with Quinn on the Blaiken situation. The mother’s only failure is to not put her children first. I will never understand the people that choose a partner over their children.

I knew he’d put a tracker on her car! I’ve read to many stalker books and watched too much Criminal Minds, it was my first thought when she fled.

Urgh! Why do I find the serial killer so utterly charming 🙄

Due to the nature of Quinn’s job (social worker) and past there is some of the subject matter is heartbreaking. There are no trigger warnings, so if you have triggers please take care.

The spice is amazing 🥵🥵🥵 knives aren’t my bag but with these two it just works and seems natural. Plenty of somno too if that’s your thing. I think we’re going to find that Quinn is just as ducked up as Gabriel.

While I can’t say I agree with what Melinda is doing, I also don’t not agree with it either. it turns out they are all as messed up as each other.

The spice and craziness continues until the end.

What a wild ride the book has been. I’ve absolutely loved it. Dr. Gabriel Brooks is everything I shouldn’t love but do. My only issue with the book was that it ended!
