yum! what a delicious book, only took me two and a half years to finish it. such a treasure trove of fascinating stories and people connected to italy and citrus fruit, who knew there was so much to say about such a seemingly obscure topic. attlee’s writing is sumptuous and her research is methodical and precise, i have no doubt that she knows more about this topic than anyone else i the world. i’ll never look at any citrus the same way ever again.
