Recommended to me by a dear friend. This book is a wild ride, I had so much fun reading it. Though in the end, it drags a tad bit. But the author ties all the loose ends in a neat bow which is quite satisfying. The funny part is I didn’t care for any of the characters (there was no emotional connection whatsoever) but I was totally curious to find out which page of the story they would pull themselves together and figure their shit out, ’cause there was A TON of shit to shovel in this tale and the characters are pro at bullshitting themselves! I also appreciate the author’s eye for detail, and the translator did a superb job. I recommend buddy-reading this book as I sort-of did! It’s more fun that way.
