The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: Powerful Lessons in Personal Change by Jim Collins, Stephen R. Covey
4.0
Now was a good time in my life to read this book. I'd been shifting to some of the Habits over the last year but didn't have names or paradigms to put to them. This book provided more framework. It also helped to cement a lot of perspective and decision shifting and to chart a path forward for further work. As a direct result, I've improved my planning, have a plan for adopting all the Habits, and am striving to apply the book's principles to other areas of my life.
Some of the writing was repetitive when I felt ready to move on, but that part of the writing may just be to reach a wider audience. Overall, I very much appreciated the book and will likely turn back to it as a resource.
