This was cute, funny, and a quick read! Now I don’t usually say this because I tend to think that romance books benefit from being short, but in this case I could’ve done with an additional 50-100 pages. There were times it felt rushed/a few “tell don’t show” moments where I really wanted to actually see how the situations played out with more explanation.
Also, this does lean into insta love territory which I tend to really dislike. It wasn’t totally insta love but I did find myself saying “you didn’t even talk about this until AFTER you got married on a whim?!”. The attraction was definitely there and both MCs had traits that I LOVED but I wanted to see more connection before they dove right in.
Overall I would still recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, sexy, hockey romance!!
