Trigger Warning: Short Fictions and Disturbances by Neil Gaiman
5.0
I don't think Gaiman can do any wrong. He has compiled eerie stories and poems that span from original content to pieces inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle--he's written a story centered around Sherlock--and the Dr. Who franchise. He's interwoven legends, Brothers Grimm and Disney-esque portrayals of the magical in uncanny worlds where the outcome isn't always what you'd expect or want. If you've never read Gaiman, this is probably an amazing way to get to know him. His prose in "Trigger Warning" reinforces the reasons why he's such a great storyteller. Go read him, you might be surprised how much you end up loving him afterwards!
