You Should See Me in a Crown by Leah Johnson
5.0
"We deserve good things too. No matter how we have to get them."
You Should See Me in a Crown is one of my favorite books I've read this year so far! This story was so fun and sweet. Liz is such a good character, and it was so easy to get invested in her story. I loved seeing the changes she made throughout the book, and especially how she learned to demand / create space for herself when others don't provide it. This is also a f/f romance set in a small town, and it was sweet. I hope to read more from Leah Johnson!
CW - racism, homophobia, parent death (off-page), illness, outing
