The Hidden Lives of Tudor Women: A Social History by Elizabeth Norton
4.0
A really readable and digestible look at women in the Tudor period. A larger focus on younger, lower class and less well known women would be ideal - but alas we are but servants to the historical record.
There were lots of interesting tidbits within the text, and as I said, this was a relatively fast and enjoyable read.
