Whispers of the Deep by Emma Hamm
4.5
I’m not sure what I expected when I started this book. Honestly, I think I expected monster smut with very little else going on. Which I should know better, because I have read several of Emma Hamm’s books and they are always more than just smut.
I really enjoyed Arges as the MMC. I think he was interesting and I enjoyed the twos dynamic.
The whole underwater world was so freaking cool. The romance in this in nice. But the atmosphere, the world, and everything else are fantastic. I really really enjoyed discovering the ocean in this book.
I know some parts of this book may lean too unrealistic but as the beginning author’s note conveys, it’s a monster fucker book, so be real.
This is a very solid sci-fi/monster romance book. I will undoubtedly be picking up the next book (and I may or may not have already ordered special edition copies of these books 😂)
4.5-ish out of 5 stars
