A Gentle Reminder by Bianca Sparacino
4.0
4-4.5 stars*
Absolutely loved this at first, was sitting on a 5 star for about half the book then I kinda just wanted to smash the rest of the book out and that’s when it went a bit downhill. I think this book should be read as a daily inspiration kind of thing, just read one of the poems/quotes/reminders/whatever you want to call them which are 1-4 pages, rather than reading like a regular book. I feel like as a kind and healing reminder each day it’s lovely but as a book to read traditionally it gets very repetitive and can make you inclined to just get it over with. Though I will say I think it’s really lovely as a healing/self love/self care source, I would recommend this book to pretty much everyone as just a nice way of reminding yourself to be kinder to yourself.
