Harry Potter meets Divergent in this YA dark academia with a moon based magic system, gloomy vibes and a *chefs kiss* atmosphere. Flawed, loveable characters, betrayals and manipulation in a coming of age story about finding yourself in a confusing world and holding onto what really matters in life.
A bit slow at the beginning, but picks up the pace at the 50% mark. I would have preferred if the references to the lore and the characters history were a bit less repetitive, but I do understand it's a complex universe, with a lot of information for the reader to process.
