Brilliant text for anyone studying Jung as any psychology or psychotherapeutic training. The inclusion of original references make it a joy to use for assignment work. The breadth of the work included is thorough. The order is not chronological so it may help to, at times, orient yourself in Jung’s personal history with a companion text or biography (particularly if working on an assignment that concerns the progression of theory). Storr makes an effort to draw upon a large range of Jung’s work. At times, the work will seem a little removed from its practical applications and Storr makes little comment on this. It is, despite this, an incredibly useful text to own and use!
