Edin by Lily Mayne

4.0

4.5/5 I love Edin so much. I mean... so much. He is so sweet and kind and thoughtful. He's gentle and loving and empathetic. He loves Hunter so much and I love his little cheek rubs. Hunter is bristley and awkward and grumpy and so real, which is exactly why I love him, too. They make such a great couple. I love how they met and Edin immediately decides to help him then isn't deterred when Hunter is a grouch and demands he doesn't need the help. He sacrifices a lot to help Hunter get Charlie back. I love when they
Spoiler team up with Wyn and Danny! It's so fun and I love seeing them agains.
I really appreciate Hunter having to face the fact that the military might be in the wrong (aka it is very in the wrong) in some ways even though he devoted 12 years of his life to it. And the
Spoiler fight club? Wild! Stress city. Thank god for Wyn. Also horrifying and so sad.

Here's the thing. This series is perfection so far and I am only on book two. I haven't been this excited to keep reading a series in a while. Like... skip work to read excited. 3/5 spice levels

WAIT THE BEST PART
Spoiler Wyn finding Mallory and carving into his chest like he did to Danny and it said MONSTER! I screamed. Mic drop, Wyn. Brilliant.
