4.5/5 I love Edin so much. I mean... so much. He is so sweet and kind and thoughtful. He's gentle and loving and empathetic. He loves Hunter so much and I love his little cheek rubs. Hunter is bristley and awkward and grumpy and so real, which is exactly why I love him, too. They make such a great couple. I love how they met and Edin immediately decides to help him then isn't deterred when Hunter is a grouch and demands he doesn't need the help. He sacrifices a lot to help Hunter get Charlie back. Here's the thing. This series is perfection so far and I am only on book two. I haven't been this excited to keep reading a series in a while. Like... skip work to read excited. 3/5 spice levels
