3.5 stars. That Christy plot is total nonsense - it makes Adam look bad for not setting boundaries and also Patricia Briggs pulled punches? I mean if she wanted to do The Other Woman plot, Ilona Andrews Magic Rises (?) hit way harder. Anyway, the other plot with Christy's ex was interesting. Though, like Carol's review mentioned, the repeated tropes of kidnapping, Mercy being in danger and almost dying, and lack of likeable female characters other than Jesse, is getting very obvious.
