7/24 re-read: 5/5. I love Mal and Henrik so, so much. Mal is so sweet. He's a genuine sweet soul with a lot of baggage weighing him down. I love Henrik! He's a secret softie on the inside, and a little grouchy and in control on the outside. I really enjoyed their dynamic. Oh and Henrik's possessiveness. And the tactile yoga. Okay actually I enjoyed every aspect of this story. Mal's mental health struggles felt so real and I felt for him. I loved how Henrik took care of him and realized why his parents wanted to care for him so much, too. I loved Henrik's family, too. They were so supportive. And the cats! I just love everything about this book.

Notes: 2/5 spice levels, sex work, escort/client, financial struggles, financial differences, mc with a disability (blindness), ptsd, panic attacks, mental health, mental health medication rep, cats, animal shelter volunteer, conversion therapy, bi rep, hurt/comfort, age gap, found family, parental trauma

(4/5) I love Mal and Henrik! Mal is so sweet and Hendrik is a softie on the inside. I loved watching them fall in love. I also appreciated the reality of Mal’s mental health struggles and Henrik’s struggles with his blindness. 3/5 spice levels.
