I read the translation by Constance Garnett because that's the copy that I had but I would like to read another version. I mean I still liked the book but it was definitely a bit stiff in terms of writing. I read this for a class in which a different translation had been recommended, and when we discussed it in class and quotes were read aloud I marveled at how not-that-good the translation I read was lol.
