I absolutely loved this book. And I have a feeling I am going to love everything else by this author. It was the perfect type of romance. The characters were perfect. The romance was perfect. The humor was perfect. The sad parts were perfect. The ending was perfect. Everything was perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. 

I’m going to copy my commentary from while reading below…

- 6% I’m reading this at the recommendation of a friend who said they didn’t like Emily Henry but absolutely loves this author. I don’t understand how. The vibes of this book so far are so similar to Emily Henry. The humor is identical. 
- 11% “I would follow a clown into storm drain if he had a baby goat in pajamas” 
- 16% I love that he is giving his dog a pep talk to be on his best behavior 😂
- 31% “Okay, well, just remember not to name his penis. Once you name it you get attached”
- 48% this Neil situation is really pissing me off. Her parents as well. She should just give it all up, move to that small town, and start a clinic. 
- 54% she just saved a baby in this small town. She is absolutely moving here. 
- 55% I learned my fun fact of the day. “Did you know that dogs developed eyebrow muscles to better manipulate humans? Wolves don’t have them. Dogs with more expressive faces were more likely to connect with their owners so they evolved.”
- 56% I love that her and her mother are at afternoon tea. I love afternoon tea. 
- 57% “My vagina has officially been closed for so long I’m afraid a Spirit Halloween is going to move in.”
- “This is fun! It’s like apocalypse prepping.” 
- 60% is Doug… going to help… him… take… this… photo?!? I’m literally cackling right now. 🤣 OMG A RING LIGHT! OMG OMG OMG IM DYING. He has a freaking support team at this point helping him take this picture Omg I am dying I am dying I am dying 😂😂😂 THE ENTIRE TOWN KNOWS
- 61% she needs to leave. Now. This entire situation. Her parents. The hospital. She just needs to pack up and leave. These people are revolting
