Oh my goodness. This book.

Despite it taking me just over a week to read this (I blame work), when I was reading it, I could not put this down. Scarlett St Clair knows how to write her spice and also an excellent plot line that keeps you hooked.

The characters were all likeable, with Isac, Sorin and Miha giving Azriel, Cassian and Mor vibes (we love a trio of sarcastic loveable side characters). Adrian was a dream, especially because of the ‘who touched my wife’ vibes and I need to know where I can buy one.

There is so much I cannot wait to find out in the next book, and I’m intrigued to see what Isolde’s mum has to do with the plot… there’s no way someone is mentioned that much without having anything to do with the main story..
