You’re in every world I exist in, your fate is my fate, either you follow me or I follow you, it doesn’t matter which and I don’t care.
....what the fuck.
oh, I was so ready to give this book five stars, I started reading it happy and then.. then this fucking book happened. at 70%-ish I started thinking I may give it 3 stars but that ending.. yeah two stars is generous if I'm being honest. the only reason why I didn't gave it one star it's because some scenes, some dynamics and the characters, until one moment, were pretty fucking good.
honestly what did just happened.
so many unnecessary povs, from characters that don't get to do anything, this is just for the page count. at first it was interesting and then it became tedious and truly thought about skipping them, specially the last one because I was so fucking angry that I just didn't CARE I DIDN'T FUCKING CARE THOSE PEOPLE NEVER ADD ANYTHING.
honestly the whole book felt like one giant mess, it's been hours since I've finished it and I still can't stop being mad about it to be able to write down the review. also I'm too lazy to properly do it I just write all the words I know in english that's my style.
I'm gonna try and keep it short.
1) there's that one anticlimactic death, one in particular felt so fucking stupid. so dumb I just couldn't believe it happened, I honestly thought it was a joke or something.
2) it felt as if the author wanted to please some shippers.. you know who I'm talking about. I honestly didn't care about the shipps in general, I was able to giggling kicking my feet freely but making that character say that they loved x and x and x ???? ugh no. just plain no.
3) there were some characters that felt so.. distanced from the whole plot. idk they had their own thing going on but it felt as if I was reading an entire different story felt as if the author didn't knew what to do with them.
4) as I said before, lots and lots of completely unnecessary povs. didn't care one bit about those people, they didn't change, add or subtract absolutely anything, not even giving us a close look to some situations or the organization in general when it comes to these societies.
5) overall the book is one giant mess. it's like she didn't knew how to end everything, kept adding things until everything went down, and not in a good way.
I'm so disappointed, so sad and mad.
I truly wanted to love this story, the characters had so many potential but.. using big fancy words it's not gonna save you from a bad developed plot.
