I love this story of a dad being the one who is nervous for his son's first day of school. A great way to let kids feel comfortable being nervous but also see that it's ok to have fun and be away from their parents for a bit at school.

Plus, [a:Mike Wohnoutka|1062202|Mike Wohnoutka|https://s.gr-assets.com/assets/nophoto/user/u_50x66-632230dc9882b4352d753eedf9396530.png] is great! I've been a fan of his since his work on [b:Moo!|17286758|Moo!|David LaRochelle|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1359391106s/17286758.jpg|23906821] which was our Once Upon a Reader early lit book of the year. Great illustrations and a great story!
