With the End in Mind: Dying, Death, and Wisdom in an Age of Denial by Kathryn Mannix

emotional informative reflective slow-paced

5.0

I knew nothing about what death looked like when I started this book, but reading these individual stories has helped me to confront my fears about family members (and, indeed, myself) dying.
The reflections at the end of each grouping helped me think about the themes and what I would like the end of life to look like, and how to talk about it with my family, both for my wishes and for theirs.
