The circus has come to town and Benny and Sam couldn't be more excited. They rush to the circus grounds before dawn and watch the work. Soon enough they are given small jobs and even free tickets! They watch the circus parade and then get ready for the show--but now Sam can't find his ticket!

I liked the colorful illustrations. The story was so-so. I didn't like that it just ended suddenly like it did. There is a nice, brief description of circuses and their importance in the beginning.
