"Don't be so sure. Nothin' keeps a monster alive in people's hearts more than their ability to see only that which is different."

Quick Summary
It's post-apocaltpyic America, the surviving population have all taken refuge in the National Parks.
Wranglestone, offer safe haven to the members of its community, but once the lakes frozen they have to take extra care because anyone or anything can cross. A homebody young man accidentally puts the camp at risk unleashing a series of events that turns everything he's ever known upside down.

Final Thoughts
I love books about zombies especially when it brings new take to it. This one brought something fresh to the table I didn't realize I'd been missing. The fact that I was so mad when I finished because I NEEDED more after it ended and then finding there is a second book should be reason enough to read this.
