This is a wonderful book. At first....the talk about prom made me nervous....but I just fell in love with Tilly and really got why it was so important to her. The characters were all very interesting and I ached for Tilly as her life unraveled. I could also relate to the unresolved issues of losing a mother so tragically and so young. It sucks. And it does take years...decades sometimes, to get over. The book made me think (and reminisce). It made me cry. It made me laugh. I loved it.
