I was just bored, and June was so despicable, so it was hard to push myself to keep going. It felt like there is just so much filler material (I'm not talking about the social issues; I just didn't need to know the in depth details about the takeout or coffee June is eating/drinking on what felt like every other page).

I think it's very well written, I just found myself skimming and not very captivated. I think the content would be much more relatable for people with experience in publishing or for authors themselves, which is maybe why it didn't speak to me as much.
