There are a lot of "life or death" situations in this book. Sometimes I want to say to the authors: "Enough is enough! Please, can't you just let them all live in peace and harmony?!", because I get so frustrated when the characters are put through this and that. Thankfully, there are some silver linings. For example, I love little Tarquin, and enjoy every scene she's in! And FINALLY, Luca has admitted how he feels about Mercy...

We get a couple of new surprises in Exile (some I saw coming, some I did not), and it ends in a gruesome cliffhanger...!
