Interesting concept and has some great ideas. I like gore in my post apocalyptic adventure stories and thought it only added to the main concept.

I did lose a little interest as it turns out something else I got obsessed with also had a human science element, but still keen to listen to the other books (I got the whole trilogy in the audible deal)
