Review: Mad Love is a heart clenching small town romance that left me in so many feels I did not know what to do! Willow captured the heartache and the instant love that encompasses the single father trope and Westonβs book refused to leave a dry eye while reading. This book immediately sucked me into the story and it did not let me go until the final words. Westonβs book shot right to the top of my favorite books by Willow and I cannot wait for the next Single Dad Playbook book!
Sadie and West were adorable together! I loved how they became such good friends and how they both loved Caleb whole heartedly. Willow was able to create such a gut wrenching backstory to Caleb, Sadie, Sasha and Weston that I had to have the tissues close by but was unable to stop reading. Weston truly steps up in this book and seeing the way Willow made his characterβs bond with Caleb was my absolute favorite part in this romance.
Sadie Chapman was a shock to me in the best of ways and I adored her story as it unfolds. Seeing the way she stepped up to care for Caleb (her sisterβs son) and then become friends with Weston hit me right in the heart and I never wanted to say bye to her. I appreciated how Willow made her character more serious and paranoid. I found the way she tried to hold onto the animosity she wanted to feel about Weston to be hilarious and perfect for who she was. I also LOVED how Willow developed her bond with Caleb and how you could feel her love for him in the pages.
Mad Love is a slower burn and high angst romance that fits both of the MCs to a T. I enjoyed how the relationship with Caleb was the focus of the book and loved seeing them both fall head over heels for him while also falling slowly for each other. While I enjoyed the romance in this book, the side commentary from the Single Dad Players Club was what I lived for! I about d!ed laughing every time the text threads or group outings came up and cannot wait to see more of them!
Rating: 100+, Another AH-mazing read by Willow! Can I get a hand for West and his heartwarming romance!
Thank you to Willow for sending me this ARC!
