General Description: Natalie Vos has an inheritance that will only be released once she's married. Her and the town loser who can't create good wine, August, decide that they can both benefit from the money of the inheritance. The pair decide to fake the marriage in order to get the inheritance. Will they be able to pull it off, or will they develop real feelings for each other?
The good:
- There are quite a few cute moments in their relationships development
- The flood scene tbh was one of the most heart pounding, intense scenes I've read in a romance book and it replays in my head every day.
The loss of 2.5 stars:
- Every cute moment ended with something cringy or just not appropriate for the situation. I wish I was exaggerating but I am not. it was EVERY. CUTE. MOMENT. ended in cringe.
- Again, I don't think Tessa Bailey's writing is personally for me.
Overall, if you were on the fence for Secretly Yours, you truly do not need this one.
