This series has been on my radar since the show popped up on Netflix and was received with rave reviews. I purchased the books in bundles with Google Play credits thinking, "Why not, they're free!" I then proceeded to put them off forever because I honestly didn't think I would care for them. To my great surprise, I ended up enjoying this book quite a lot! I was expecting a fairly formulaic, hallmark-esque romance, which it sort of was, but it was also much more clever and funny than I anticipated. I'm grateful to have replaced the dread of finally get around to reading this series that I collected for no good reason with actual excitement for the next book.
