This memoir is short but powerful. Partially an account of the author's paralysis as a result of a surgery, partially an account of how to overcome obstacles and dark times, and use them to propel yourself forward, this memoir is one that I think anyone could appreciate. The story is deeply personal to the author, but has a message that all readers can appreciate.
