Even though it only got interesting after Part 2 in the book, the story was pleasingly complex and a satisfying read in the end.

The book was too long for my taste; RG could've dealt with the plot within the half the book itself. I expected a whole lot more on the relationship between Robin and Strike, other than animosity and lack of understanding each other on a personal level since it's already four books now in the series; alas, we need to persevere till the next installment maybe.
