What a wonderful story. I really enjoyed the Japanese setting of cherry blossoms and Japanese cooking: not just the dorayaki but the information about other dishes like manju, kishimen noodles, sake, kombu, soba noodles..etc loved the characters and the realistic portrayal and the ending for not being all a "perfect ending". The whole book made me hungry and emotional.
