The Quiet Child by John Burley

4.0

3.75 stars

I quite liked the writing style of this book, I enjoyed the jumping around on the timeline from different perspectives, I think it worked really well. I also was really happy that this book stuck closely to the description on the back without being overly predictable or boring! I just couldn't quite give this four stars because it lacked the urgency of a normal story with two missing children, and I felt like that led to reader to the ending a little too easily in the beginning of the book.
