Grey & Willow: I Wasn’t Ready for THAT! 5 Stars

Omg… as I write this review, I’m still trying to unpack what I read. What a cliffhanger! Let me see if I can write this review without spoiling it because… it’s ALOT.

We meet Willow, a young witch who has been fighting her entire life. The only person she has in this world is her younger half-brother whom she must send to live with her father as she prepares to do battle with the Vessels, beings who inhabit the bodies of humans and survive off the blood of witches. Willows mother, ran away from her Coven, wanting no part in the rituals and duties they must perform to keep their bloodline going. She is forced to enroll in a school, run by head Vessel Alaric Greyson Thorne. The two begin the game of cat and mouse, seeing who can best who. The end game is catastrophic, as Willow is unprepared her true role in the Academy and Coven.

I was not prepared for the ending or cliffhanger. I’m still stunned and eagerly await the next installment of this series in August. The writing and foreshadowing in this book is excellent. Just when you think you know what’s going in, trust me… you don’t.

I highly recommend this This amazing story and I will definitely be reading this book again!

Happy reading!
