💭: I tried the audiobook of this, but it made it difficult for me to follow so I switched to reading it physically. Once I started reading it physically, I didn’t want to put it down. I loved the mystery and weird vibes of Rachel (who doesn’t care that she drinks and smokes while pregnant??). I thought it was a slow start at first, but it was captivating about a third of the way in. As a debut, it was pretty good! I enjoyed the short chapters and multiple points of view. The characters were unlikeable in that good way that makes a thriller worth reading. I look forward to picking up more from this author.
