I read this because I loved Oona Out of Order.
This was not as good, but mind you, I didn't think I would like it - it's not a book for me, but I still read it and it was interesting enough that I read the whole thing though neither the premise or the style is something up my alley, so that says something about the quality of the writing, at least.  However, I didn't like the ending - it felt like the easy way out.
