Had trouble getting into this book, I think it had more to do with the drama in my life than the book. I usually really like Ms. MacAlister's books, but this one was a bit of a struggle. Perhaps it had to do with the time spent in the past, I'm not really a fan of Historical romance books. Once they arrived back to the present it picked up for me. Luckily I own the book and I can reread it sometime when there is less turmoil in my life. This has happen with her books for me before, thou, I either love them or they are meh.
