Oooh this one made me feel uneasy! It was a very quick read, but I had to keep pausing because I was feeling v uncomfy. A philosophical thriller/horror is accurate description for this book. No extreme violence or gore, just lots of psychological questioning of what is real. Since we are in the head of an older character, Penny, you cannot tell if her mind is slipping or if nefarious things are actually happening around her. Interesting musings on how people's value is tied to their productivity, and how we perceive (or ignore) elders in our communities.
