When I picked up this book, I had no idea I would love it as much as I did. I could hardly put it down! Characters were well developed, both main and side- my particular favorite being Kingsley š Whereas as plots can be a bit stale with arcs being very predictable, that was not the case here. This anti-hero tale kept you on the end your seat with unpredictable twists, turns and tales. Further, the themes of good versus evil, how looks can be deceiving and prompting the reader to look further into what āevilā truly is are masterfully utilized. The writing, especially the humor utilized, is also praiseworthy. I truly cannot say enough good things about āAssistant to the Villainā
